Just got a message on my guestbook telling me to get off my ass and update the site more. It’s true, need to update it more often, so I will. Not a lot has been going on, no new pictures. My buddy and I tried to install the steering column a few weeks ago but found that I’m missing the firewall bracket, so that didn’t happen. We then tried to put the steering wheel on but found my turn signal lever was broken so that didn’t happen. We then tried to put together the grill, but found I had all the molding clips except the two for the I piece, so that didn’t happen. An altogether waste of a day.
I have since received the bracket, and I have the turn signal arm on the way. Still looking for the clips tho. My plan is that one I get the steering column in with the wheel then I will send the car to get the new glass put in. Once that is done it’s off to Gage Auto to fix some minor defects. Once that is done it’s off to the guy who will be priming the engine and getting all the minute stuff done with the engine. He will also install the exhaust. I’m figuring another 4-6 months until I can turn the key.
We won’t be able to get to the steering column until Jan, so once I get that in I will get some new pic’s up.
