Performance Streetcars Got the Charger One Step Closer
The Charger went back to James at Performance Streetcars, and once again he knocked out the kind of work that keeps this project moving in the right direction.
This round was mostly about cleaning up leaks, finishing the cooling system details, and getting the car more road-ready.
James installed the customer-supplied modified 18-inch fan blade, along with the upper and lower radiator hoses, and took care of several fluid and leak issues while the car was in the shop.

Cooling System Progress
One of the big pieces of this visit was getting the cooling setup closer to where it needs to be. The Charger now has the modified 18-inch fan blade installed, along with the new upper and lower radiator hoses and thermostat.
The radiator also had some leaks that needed attention. James took care of that by removing it, getting the leaks fixed, and reinstalling it. That is exactly the kind of detail work that matters on an old Mopar. It is not just bolting parts on. It is checking, correcting, and making sure the system is actually right.
Fluids and Leak Fixes
James also went through the rear end and engine-related fluid work. He drained the differential, removed and repaired the rear differential cover, then reinstalled it. He also handled the sending unit and fresh fluids.
That kind of work is not glamorous, but it is important. A car like this can look great sitting still, but the real goal is getting it dependable enough to enjoy. Chasing leaks and cleaning up old issues is part of getting there.
Big Thanks to James
Huge thanks to James at Performance Streetcars for the work on the Charger. He has been great to deal with, and I really appreciate having someone who understands these old cars and pays attention to the little things.
The Charger is getting closer, one repair at a time. Cooling system, fluids, leaks, and cleanup work may not be the flashiest updates, but they are the things that make the car better, safer, and more reliable.
Another solid step forward.
