Finally finished restoring the Grille. After completing it I discovered the tab that connects the center section to the left end section was broken off and missing….you can see it when its put together which really blows, now I gotta find a replacement center section and restore that…. BEFORE AFTER

Received the seatbelts back from Snake-Oyl. Like a dummy I didn’t take any before pic’s of the belts by themselves….got one that show’s the interior, u can see a bit of the belts there.
Got the correct radiator from Tony’s Mopar correct part number and all Not in great shape but I will get a new core for it and powder coat the metal parts…should come out nice. Also got the air filter and gas tank powder coated.
Been awhile since I updated the page, not a whole lot going on. The work at the body shop is going well, slowly but well. Got the radiator re-cored and painted by my powder coat guy. It wasn’t powder coated since the heat of the process would melt the welds so he used liquid paint. …

I received the dash plastic bezels back from CV Vacuum Platers. Wow, these things look brand new. If you recall on I had a local paint shop repaint the bezels and tho they looked nice I wasn’t completely happy with them, so I sent them to be completely re-chromed. BEFORE AFTER
Visited my girl at the shop today, looking like 3 more weeks, and then it’s time to put everything back together. So far, they have put 185 hours into the car. Check out the pics below. You can see where they have painted the door jambs, the engine bay, and so forth.
The car has been painted! 5 coats base, 5 coats clear. Hasn’t been color sanded yet tho, but it’s looking sweet! Love this silver, has a greenish tinge to it. I also received the grille back from GCAR. These pics I took these tonight in my kitchen, so the lighting isn’t the best. BEFORE – …
