I trailered the Charger home last Monday, and since it was the first time I have ever trailered anything, let me just say I was stressed. But all went fine. Got it home and put it in the Car Capsule I brought a month or so back. Today I brought it out and took the wife and daughter around the block. Going to take it out once a week or so to make sure the engine gets turned over every so often. Still stuff to do on it, but I’ve run out of money for the moment so it’s on hold for a month or two. First thing that needs to be done is at Sammy Maloof’s.

  • Leak in the drivers side caliper needs to be fixed
  • Shifter arm needs to be rechromed, forgot to do that.
  • Transmission needs to be tweaked, getting it into gear is a bit mushy.
  • There is a short in the light system somewhere. One parking light is dim and one of the bulbs in the rear brake lights is out, Headlights need to be wired also.
Lower the car, its too high
  • Dyno the engine and tune it.

Then its off to my interior guy to put in the glovebox, console carpet, seatbelts, headrests. After that the last thing I need is a spare tire and to find a original bumper jack. Here are a few pics from today:

And here is the mat for the Car Capsule and then with the charger inside it:
