Sammy Maloof is done with the charger. It was well over 140+ hours, and lots of it entailed correcting mistakes either I made or others who had worked on the car had made. So on my next update I will detail everything he has done to get it to this point. What point you ask? Well this point:
Does that sound sweet or what? Of course I have new pictures also:
I highly recommend Sammy for any classic car restoration you have going. If they can’t get a piece for your car, they will fabricate it. The guys there are simple miracle workers when it comes to old Detroit steel. You can reach them at 626-286-1083 and their address is 843 Commercial Ave, San Gabriel, CA 91776. Now it’s back to Gage Auto to have the wheel wells put in, get a scratch fixed on the rear quarter panel, put the rear R/T emblem into the rear tail panel, and put the rest of the chrome molding on such as the drip rail, the rocker panel. They also have to put the weatherstripping on the front windows. After that it’s to the interior shop to get the headrests, seatbelts, and inner door handles installed. After that, it’s done!
